This was basically the block out of the view through some gum trees along Brook’s Creek Lane which came out so well that I decided any further work on it would be unlikely to improve it. I really love the colours and playful blots of light and will endeavour to develop some more paintings along this line in the future.
Oil on canvas in a Tasmanian blackwood beeswax polished floating frame.
24”x12” painted in August 2024 and included in my Sutton Village Gallery “Beyond the Front Gate” exhibition.
It was sold by the gallery in February 2025.
