Intellectual Property – Copying & Using Images

Apart from any images in user comments, all images included in the webpage are the intellectual property of Ian Fleming and not approved for copying or other public use without my explicit permission.

Certain identified studies are based on images drawn from game media (credited) and are presented as artistic reinterpretations of the works they are based on. As such they are unsigned and not saleable items. They were created in homage to the artistic originals and are included only as demonstrations of my technical capability

Comments Privacy

Comments left by visitors are treated as private unless flagged as public & chosen for display on website.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media Privacy

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included as other visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from the images.

Cookies

Cookies are collected to improve the functioning, performance and reach of the site. They are retained for a few months and will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes although third party apps used by the site may process them. This policy will evolve over time as I better understand its implications.

Who we share your data with

Unless explicitly agreed with the visitor, we do not share any personal or financial data entered into the comments or contacts form. Information entered into comments is publicly visible so we exercise no control over it.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment or fill in a contact form, the information and its metadata may be retained indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

If you have provided contact details or left comments, you can request to have this information erased. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
